15
successful years of public relations experience
Kate
Kaemerle started EnTech Public Relations in January 2002.
She has more than 15 years of public relations and marketing
experience. Areas of expertise include technology, education,
gourmet food products plus environmental and health products.
Best of all she has observed public relations strategies from
both sides of the corporate and agency arenas.
High
tech public relations
Prior to owning her own firm, Kate was an account supervisor
at the Seattle office of Weber Shandwick Worldwide, the world’s
largest PR firm. Working with Microsoft's Digital Media Division
she developed public relations strategies and oversaw their
implementation for Windows Media Technology, which includes
the Windows Media Player and Digital Rights Management. Kate
acted as the news lead, dealing with the top-tier of business
and technology media. In one year, her team garnered over
2,000 television, radio, and print stories for Windows Media.
Consumer
public relations
Besides working with other technology clients, she supervised
the regional new product rollout events for Hershey Foods
new Fast Break candy bar. Kate’s team garnered more
media coverage than any other office in the United States
for this Hershey product debut.
As
a member of the Weber Shandwick Seattle Broadcast Team, Kate
combined her expertise in convergence media technology, television,
and radio for the in-house media group.
Public
relations in Los Angeles
Previously, Kate worked as senior account manager for a large
regional public relations firm in Los Angeles. She specialized
in developing successful PR strategies for high tech clients,
primarily software companies and emerging technologies. During
the successful national rollout of Shari’s Berries (berries.com),
a small brick-and-mortar gourmet food business, Kate’s
team gained national media attention with television coverage
on NBC’s “Today Show” and several airings
on the Food Network. Print coverage included In Style
Magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, and more than 30
other national publications.
For
various clients, she generated coverage in the Wall Street
Journal, The New York Times, New York Post, Los Angeles Times,
Architectural Digest, Wired, Golf Digest, Forbes, Business
Week, and other prominent media.
In
Los Angeles at On Air On Line, a convergence media firm, Kate
produced video news releases, streaming video, interactive
CDs and other video projects. She oversaw the writing, editing,
animation, and production of projects from concept to completion.
Clients included IronmanLive.com, SportVision, Realtimestats.com,
ACE Computer, and U-Lead Software.

relations in Alaska
Her previous public relations experience includes managing
the Seattle office of North Star Marketing of Washington and
Alaska. In the late 1980s, she served as public affairs director
for Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage.

Francisco State University and is currently working on her
